Creating YouTube Playlists are a fantastic way to curate content for your audience (and yourself). However, not all of us have the time to watch every video recommended so it’s great that YouTube have introduced a new feature which allows videos to be trimmed so viewers will only see the bit you really want them to see. I’ve been playing around with it this morning and it really couldn’t be easier.
Just go to Video Manager > Playlists > Edit
Then, just select the video you want to trim and click on the little arrow button in the lower right hand side:
Drag the markers either side to isolate the clip you want:
Then just save your edit and you are all done! I think this is a fantastic update from YouTube and I’ll be using it a lot in the future. You can read more about the new feature here.
